GeekCraft Expo RDU's Holiday Market Debuts With a Bang
Our first annual GeekCraft Expo RDU Holiday Market December 16 was a smash success—thank you to everyone who came out to the Durham Armory and shopped, socialized, and crafted with us! Thousands of people poured through the doors to shop more than 50 local crafters selling the coolest, most original geeky goods, and we enjoyed every minute!

Special thanks to Marbles Kids Museum, who led free Star Wars-themed make-and-take crafts for kids all weekend long, and The League of Extraordinary Bellydancers and Nick Edelstein, who performed for the crowd.
Fullsteam Brewery was the perfect venue for our incredible kickoff party, and Travis Oates hosted a fantastic round of geek trivia. We were thrilled to have so many cool prizes to give away from our fantastic sponsors, NCComicon, Ultimate Comics Durham/Chapel Hill, Arkham Comix Rocky Mount, Atomic Empire, Craft Habit Raleigh, Amy May Pop Art, The League of Extraordinary Bellydancers, Happy Unicorn Studio, Red Storm Entertainment, and The Mothership!
We also want to thank Triangle on the Cheap, Indy Week, and WRAL for helping us spread the word!
